About
As a Licensed Social Worker, my mission is to help you find a healthy direction in life. There is power and potential in all of us for healing and growth. I assist my clients in understanding the interplay of the thoughts, feelings and behaviors that contribute to the distress in their lives. Clients begin to find hope when recognizable patterns emerge. Hope grows when these patterns are understood and accepted in the context of their past experiences. Change occurs with ongoing feedback, practice and encouragement. Challenging times can offer opportunity for self discovery and enhancement.
If you are going through a period of change or loss, dealing with feelings of depression, anxiety, self doubt, relationship concerns, substance abuse issues or just feeling misguided; your journey towards healing and empowerment starts here. Duration and nature of counseling are based on presenting issues, individual strengths, and needs.
The therapeutic relationship can help us feel more connected to self and others. Mental, physical and emotional distress contain important clues to imbalance in your life. Learning to listen to yourself, with the support of a trusting therapeutic relationship, can help you to become unstuck and live with greater ease.
