Caring and empathy have always been central to my identity as both a counselor and an educator. After earning my M.Ed. in School Counseling in 2012, I gained experience in educational settings and became a Licensed Professional Counselor. I provide support and strategies for anxiety, depression, self-doubt, and life transitions—such as adjusting to a new school, navigating career pressures, balancing family and work, or coping with loss. My aim is to offer a safe space, help you build resilience, and encourage personal growth, so you feel empowered and supported as you pursue a balanced, fulfilling life.

I have worked with families, adolescents, and young adults primarily using a person-centered approach utilizing cognitive behavioral and narrative therapies as well as mindfulness techniques to help manage life transitions and build lasting resilience and peace.

I work with clients who may be struggling with depression, anxiety, school related issues or those in family or relationship crisis. During our initial sessions, we will collaborate to develop a plan for addressing issues in a way for you to move forward with hope and resilience. Most of my clients see a gradual decrease of symptoms within the first 4 sessions and sustained improvement thereafter.

I prefer to use a person-centered approach to therapy in my practice. In your first session, we explore what brought you to therapy and then decide the most appropriate ways to help you see progress. We start with talk therapy using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to look at how your thoughts affect your emotions and experiences and move to other approaches to enhance progress as needed.
