You’ve spent your life masking and pretending to be someone else, and you’re tired of doing that. Maybe you’ve found it hard to maintain focus on uninteresting tasks, manage your impulse control, or adapt well to changes in your life. Feeling misunderstood and unworthy has probably contributed to feelings of depression and anxiety that are likely causing you to seek out therapy now. I’ll be the first to tell you that you don’t have to fit into neurotypical expectations to be valuable and worthy. You deserve to feel more in control of your emotions and impulses, and you are worthy of a life that feels joyful and fulfilling!
I work with clients who have neurodivergence and clients who have struggled with anxiety, depression, and self-acceptance. My direct approach helps clients feel seen and appreciated for who they are. I’m a compassionate and creative therapist with training in DBT, CBT, and psychodrama, and I like to keep sessions active and engaging.
Your future deserves to feel bright and full of opportunities. I understand how scary it can be to reach out and schedule therapy. I hope to give you a new experience in therapy, where you don’t feel like you need to be “fixed” but can find greater appreciation for yourself as you are. I encourage you to take the first step toward an improved life today!
