Are you looking for an “anything-but-typical” therapist? Have you struggled to find a therapist who connects with your neurodivergence, idiosyncrasies, or unconventional perspectives? You feel too much — or maybe not enough. Everyone says you're too much — or not enough. You might struggle with the parts of life that others seem to just take for granted, like meeting deadlines, eating without fear, enjoying time with friends, parenting without guilt or shame, looking in the mirror, making and keeping plans, paying bills on time, or controlling your anger over seemingly small things.
I'm not that stereotypical therapist, nodding and hmm-ing. I challenge clients to learn what feels true to them while building practical skills in creative ways. Clients can find support by working with me in virtually, in-office, or even via mind-body techniques such as walk-and-talk therapy. I also offer EMDR therapy and ketamine-assisted psychotherapy.
So many people can't help but feel like they've been forgotten, left behind, or forced to go it alone. Even if you do have close relationships with a lot of love and support advice - perhaps unwanted - you might struggle with not feeling validated or understood. You're not supposed to know all the answers, but you want to try. I can help you get started.

You might wonder, "How is therapy...actually therapeutic?" After our initial session, I'll use clinical assessments, professional judgment, and your input to develop a treatment plan, which will reflect your "eventual" goals for various areas of your life (or help you develop them!) and include short-term, reachable goals as well as the tools and resources that will help you start feeling better.

In your first session, we will discuss what brings you to therapy and what you hope to accomplish. Then, I'll discuss with you my assessment of the most impactful ways to help you make progress. Sometimes, you may benefit greatly from a particular type of therapy, such as EMDR or DBT. Often, blending techniques and tools for an eclectic approach is most appropriate. It's a mixtape for your brain!
