Helping children and teens talk, especially when they are hurting, overwhelmed, anxious, angry, or completely shut down, is often the hardest part for parents. I specialize in working with children, teens, and young adults, while also supporting adults and families through life's most challenging seasons. My focus is creating a safe, comfortable space where even the most reluctant kids can begin to open up, feel understood, and build trust. Many parents come to me saying, "my child just won't talk to me" or "they won't talk to anyone".
One of my greatest strengths is connecting with children and teens who are guarded, resistant, or struggling to express what they are feeling. I help them find their voice while also helping parents better understand how to support them at home. I work with concerns including anxiety, depression, school and family stress, and life transitions.
My approach is warm, practical, and relationship-centered, with the goal of helping both kids and parents feel less stuck and more connected. I offer flexible scheduling, both in-person and virtually, to better support busy families, kids, and adults.
