I retired after 28 years as The Mental Health Program Specialist for the State of Texas to focus primarily on my private practice. I have experience with the child welfare system, I understand the dynamics involved with families in crisis. I have experience with individual group and family therapy. I provide psychiatric evaluations for acute hospitalizations, individual/group psychotherapy and LCSW Supervision. I am certified trauma specialist.
I develop goal directed treatment plans, complete therapy notes, facilitate recommendations and referrals when needed. I provide crisis intervention and including referrals to psychiatrists or inpatient hospitalizations. I provide individual and group therapy which include process groups, parenting, trauma, anger management and self esteem.
I offer an array of services to assist women and their families in reaching wellness by providing psychotherapy, meditation, personalized yoga, aromatherapy, nutrition and budget counseling. I am certified in Trauma, Anger Management. aternal and Prenatal Depression. I specialize in working with clients affected by trauma and substance use/ dual diagnosis.
