My ideal client is one who may need reassurance, guidance, a listening ear, has motivation to do the hard work, and also wanting to learn and make positive changes within themselves. Being a BIPOC, I know the need for mental health professionals who look like you and understand the various day-to-day struggles we often face. I want to offer a safe space for those who often have to be the strength of their family unit, and are needing a space to heal and grow.
Helping break down the barriers to mental health services and also reducing the stigma of mental health is my goal. It is not easy talking to someone you do not know about pressing life issues, past trauma, or very personal details of your life. My only hope is to be a safe space for you in our journey together.
