Hello, my name is Kelley Brown and I'm a national board licensed professional counselor (LPC) with 15+ years of experience helping individuals achieve optimum wellness. My theoretical approaches are grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-Center, Trauma, Gestalt, and Gothman Therapy. I am also certified in Anger Management. I work with and am most comfortable with individuals, couples, marriages, teens, and adults who are dealing with grief, trauma, life stressors/adjustments, relationships, esteem, anxiety, and depression.
I started my journey as a therapist over 20 years ago. As a former educator, I've been afforded the opportunity to serve children and their families, and that sparked a desire for me to explore the counseling field.
I have extensive experience working in various mental health forums including community-based mental health programs, psychiatric hospitals, core services, Government and private practice. I'm driven by my passion to serve individuals out of my own experiences, family experiences, and my belief that there is hope in the recovery and healing process.
