Welcome. I primarily focus on traumatic grief with an understanding that there is no wrong way to feel, timeline or expectations for healing. My approach is individualized to each client and draws upon several interventions such at the ATTEND model for grief, trauma focused CBT and mindfulness. Many of my clients have lost loved ones to sudden deaths including suicide, auto accidents, homicides, medical malpractice, unexplained sudden deaths and long term illnesses. I believe in walking beside you during the most difficult time of your life and drawing upon your inner strengths to help you through this time.
I offer a safe and compassionate space to gently transform pain into meaning, healing and purpose. We can work through grief bursts, understand the grief process, ruminations and possible feelings of guilt.
We primarily focuses on grief but loss often accompanies concerns such as family and employment challenges, substance use, life transitions and relationship issues. We accept clients in Arizona and Colorado virtually (please inquire about in person sessions in Scottsdale with other grief therapists in the office, if desired).
