I believe that change occurs when we are met with compassion, deep listening and a sense of hope. I focus primarily on traumatic grief with an understanding that there is no wrong way to feel, timeline or expectations. My approach is individualized and draws upon several interventions such at the ATTEND model for grief, trauma focused CBT and mindfulness. Many of my clients have lost loved ones to sudden and traumatic deaths including suicide, auto accidents, homicides, medical malpractice and long term illnesses. I believe in walking beside you during the most difficult time of your life and drawing upon your inner strengths.
I promise to offer a safe and compassionate space to transform pain into purpose and meaning. Many of my clients reach out to me due to my specialized training and experience in grief. I also see clients for other issues that concern a variety of life transitions and relationship challenges.
We are a small practice that focus primarily on grief but understand loss often accompanies overlapping concerns, family changes, employment and relationship issues. We can accommodate evening and weekend hours. In person in Cave Creek. Telehealth is always an option. Services also available virtually for Florida residents.
