Not all childhoods are created equally. We all deserve the space and support we need to develop and explore our sense of self, but when you're chronically in survival mode, identity gets deprioritized in favor of safety. If you're noticing yourself feeling held back by your trauma, I want to help you reclaim your life. Our sessions will help you recognize and validate your strengths, confront your problems with gentle accountability, and establish actionable steps towards real change. If therapy seems overwhelming to you, I want you to know we can find ways to make the scary seem approachable and the confusing seem comprehensible.
I'm an EMDR therapist who uses a trauma informed, eclectic approach drawing from various treatment modalities to provide a person-first empowerment model of care; my focus is in treating You, not just a diagnosis or set of symptoms. As a queer and genderqueer therapist, I aim to help you feel safe enough to develop and explore and become your authentic self.
Whether you're starting or re-starting therapy, I want to provide you with a space that meets you where you're at and helps you identify and pursue your needs in the moment.
