Hello :) My name is Kelcey Roberts, MS, LPC, LIMHP, LPC-MH. I have been a counselor for 15 years, specializing in children and families. I provide support for individuals struggling in relationships with children, parents, spouses, and family. I approach therapy from a relationship-based view. I am here to support you in identifying your goals and then guiding you to find the tools you need to accomplish those goals. I am trauma informed. I implement cognitive behavioral therapy when appropriate for clients. I also implement attachment-based therapy, particularly when working with children.
I provide services to individuals of any age, from birth to advanced adulthood. I work with children experiencing attachment disruptions, behavioral concerns, and trauma. I work with adults struggling with their role as a parent, spouse, or family member. I am comfortable treating most mental health concerns.
I establish treatment goals based on what the client wants to achieve. Counseling is about you and should be client driven.During the initial session, you should expect a lot of questions and curiosity. My focus in the first session is to learn as much about you as I can in order to get to know who you are and begin identifying ways I can be helpful to you.
