If you and your partner want to improve your relationship and are willing to make changes, you have found the right therapist. If you just want to complain about your partner without working on the relationship yourself, then please look elsewhere because I want my clients to succeed at making changes that will result in improved communication, handling conflict respectfully, and enhanced intimacy. I have 40 years experience as a mental health professional and since 2017 I have specialized in couples therapy, so I know how to help you if you are willing to do the work both in session and at home.

I have an app for couples to use at home called the Couples Therapy Assistant (CTA), so couples who work with me have the benefit of using the CTA app between sessions. I also help separated parents with communication with the other parent, positive parent-child relationships, and co-parenting approaches that will be in the best interests of the children.

I am kind and gentle and at the same time I mean business, so I expect you to listen to my guidance when I tell you what you can do differently. I make use of the CTA app and I expect the couples I work with to take advantage of it to gain extra benefit between sessions.

For separated and divorced parents who are having difficulty co-parenting with the other parent. Emphasis is on learning from the experiences of other group members and doing what will be in the best interests of the children.
