Keith Idell
Clinical Social Work/Therapist, MSW, LCSW
As a member of the Gay community, I offer my professional training and experience, as well as my personal experience and insight into the obstacles that face LBGTQ men and women. I have extensive experience working with LBGTQ individuals with a variety of concerns. I am an affirming, accepting and non-judgmental therapist who offers a place for you to gain a deeper understanding of yourself and your personal strengths, learn new and more effective problem solving skills and increase your sense of power.
I work with members of the LGBTQ community to address social stigma, gender or sexual identity issues, self acceptance, and living with HIV, as well as many other concerns. I work with both Heterosexual and LBGTQ adults experiencing relationship concerns/divorce, grief and loss, trauma related to abuse and neglect, PTSD, anxiety, and depression.
I am trained in EMDR and use it in combination with Traditional therapies when helpful. We will construct a treatment plan tailored to your needs. Visit my website to see a CBS News video on EMDR, to learn more about me and services I offer, or contact me to schedule a FREE in-person consultation.
