The counseling process can be intimidating as it requires you to entrust your current behaviors, thoughts, feelings and concerns to a licensed professional in the hopes of relieving problematic symptoms. My goal is to assist you in this process by providing a warm and empathetic environment in which you are able to discuss, explore, and decide the direction you would like to take. My approach serves to teach you the skills and techniques to effectively identify current problems with confidence.
I have experience in therapy with people of all ages, alternative lifestyles, many faiths, and individuals from varying ethnic and cultural backgrounds regardless of their socioeconomic status. I am also experienced in the areas of anxiety, depression, trauma, stress/anger management critical incident stress and various other issues.
I believe my diversity of experiences has provided me with a range of skills and an ability to flexibly approach each client’s circumstances. Areas of treatment include but are not limited self-esteem, personal, emotional and behavioral issues in school, work, at home, difficulties in family communication and relationships.
