I am Keisha Lewis, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas. I have over 10 years of experience working with all age groups, mainly adolescents and adults, in inpatient and outpatient treatment. I specialize in helping clients with a wide range of concerns such as adjusting to life stressors, coping mechanisms, anger management, anxiety, and grief. In addition, I also work with individuals experiencing life-threatening crises and juveniles in the legal system.
I obtained my Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Prairie View A & M University and completed my Master's degree in Counseling from Houston Baptist University. I utilize multiple modalities, including but not limited to cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy (SFT), motivational interviewing, and mindfulness.
