I help young adults with anxiety, depression, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, grief, life transitions, relationship issues, and trauma. My approach to therapy uses a person-centered and narrative philosophy, believing in the dignity of all individuals and acknowledging that you are the author of your story. I believe in the importance of adapting to the needs of each patient.
My practice draws upon teachings from multicultural, feminist, acceptance and commitment therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and developmental styles. Life can be tough, and I want to help make it easier with support, tools, and maybe a little humor. I have spent all my life in Minnesota, although I love traveling.
Outside work, I am especially passionate about board games, video games, dogs, hiking, and photography. Anything that takes me to new places or leads to new ways of having fun.
