I provide counseling services to individuals looking to reduce and manage symptoms of anxiety and depression, improve overall functioning, and receive support in facing life challenges. I strive to provide a safe, supportive and healing space for each of my clients. My treatment style has been described as calm, warm, empathic, authentic and nonjudgmental. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, my specialization is in the treatment of eating disorders, which includes experience through The Renfrew Center. I also specialize in trauma from working at HopeWorks in Maryland and I hold a Certificate in Advanced Trauma Treatment from The Ferentz Institute.
My therapeutic approach is a collaborative one, working together in a safe and comfortable environment to achieve mutually identified goals. I incorporate a variety of therapeutic approaches based on individual needs and can work with you to determine which approach will be most successful.
