As a Registered Marriage and Family Therapy my professional journey is rooted in a rich cultural tapestry. The commitment to academic excellence reflects my dedication to providing clients with the highest level of expertise. Continual learning is the cornerstone of my approach, with a master's degree and ongoing pursuit of my doctorate allowing me to stay abreast of the latest research and therapeutic methodologies. I primarily focus on understanding and addressing individuals', couples', and families' unique needs. I approach therapy to foster healthy relationships and promote positive communication.
I use Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to assist in identifying challenging negative thought patterns and help reframe unhelpful beliefs that may impact their well-being. I use solution-focused therapy (SFT) to engage in conversations focused on client goals, explore solutions, and identify what is currently working well in their life.
In my session, I aim to provide a supportive and non-judgmental space. Whether the clients seek individual or group therapy to help navigate complicated family dynamics, I can adapt my approach to align with the client's preferences and goals. Feel free to share your concerns, and we can work collaboratively to foster positive change and growth.
