Want to embody your most authentic self? My practice focuses on empowering LGBTQIA+ teens and adults who are motivated to increase competence in being able to connect and sit with emotions, communicate with others and understand the multiple parts of who we are when living and engaging with the world around us. I work from a trauma-informed, strengths based approach, including elements of person-centered, CBT, and systems-based methods to explore mood related emotional stressors.
As an art therapist, I focus on using creative materials to invite expression and emotional release. Artmaking can tap into alternative ways of releasing the emotional weight we carry in our bodies. I also explore nerd culture and how it can build healing in metaphor and social play with others.
If you find yourself curious to explore tapping into your creative, playful side as a source of self exploration and healing, I welcome you to reach out to begin your personal process of growth.
