About
With all of life’s demands, unexpected events, and derailed plans, hope and happiness can be illusive. We often demand perfection from ourselves while giving grace and forgiveness to others. Allow me to help you find your voice that says, “I matter” and “I’m enough.” I specialize in treating PTSD in First Responders! I offer EMDR and Brain Spotting therapies. As your biggest advocate and champion, my goal is to help you heal your trauma while learning techniques to create a more hopeful, fulfilling and peaceful life.
In my 33 years as a social worker, I have worked with survivors of sexual trauma, in both inpatient and outpatient psychiatric settings, extensively in the criminal justice system, and the medical field. I specialize in treating PTSD in First Responders. I am EMDR and Brainspotting Therapy trained. I also treat Depression, Anxiety, and Relationship Issues.
I graduated from TCU with my BS in Social Work and Criminal Justice in 1989 and went on to graduate with my Master’s degree from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2015. I enjoy spending time with family, dogs, friends, and traveling.
