I work to -> sustain resilience in ambitious professionals <- through therapy and/or coaching. We would work best together if you're a determined person (or duo) experiencing obstacle-after-obstacle in the way of expressing yourself the way you want AND need to. You and I would work best if you're in your head a lot and need (but don't yet know it) to strengthen your connection to your heart. Including me on your journey would look/feel like: talking with a friend, having lots of encouragement and some challenges along the way, and getting you to the out-of-the-box solution you've needed.
Background: experiential and somatic therapies, narrative therapy (for you creative folks), ACT, and more! Other than in therapy, I used to work in the customer service, hospitality, and visual art fields. NOW: focus on trauma work, grief and big life changes, work stress management, relationships, and OCD. We will do somatic exercises together, like yoga.
I'm in this field because I felt "called" to it in many ways; however, I'm not like other therapists. I don't sit and nod my head the whole time, I'm engaged. Each session is designed to help you move past your anxieties safely and in a way where we don’t have to confront it in traditional talk therapy.
