My goal is to create a safe and supportive space for you. Everyone seeks therapy for different reasons; I work with each client individually to identify your own goals. I believe the most critical aspect to therapy is the relationship therapist and client, I work hard to build trust and create a strong, caring connection. I enjoy working with college students, those in transition and seeking supports and who are part of the LGBTQIA2S+ community! I am strongly anti-racist in my work and acknowledge how power and privilege impact a persons life.
My background in social work and public health has helped shape my practice of looking both at the individual and the larger systems at play. I use a strengths based and strongly relational and attachment focused approach to counseling and utilize practices from a number of different approaches, including psychodynamic theory, CBT, and trauma informed care.
I work every day to bring a feminist, humanist and antiracist lens to my work. I would be honored to meet you on your journey and provide support around your needs. I see this as a partnership and walk with my clients along the path towards wellness and integration. I am a fierce advocate and ally for those I work with. I look forward to hearing from you!
