About
My hope for working with the clients I do is to help them with insights and tools for whatever isn't working in their life in order to empower them to have the most effective experience in life that they can. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and have been certified for the last 7 years. I have been involved with treating addiction and mental health on and off for the past 16 years. I received my Bachelor's degree from Weber State University in Secondary Education in 2006. I graduated with my Masters of Social Work from the University of Utah in 2010.
I specialize in working with adolescents, adults, couples and families dealing with cognitive and behavioral issues, mood disorders, anxiety, trauma and PTSD, addiction and relationship issues . I have experience with CBT, DBT, MI, experiential, EMDR and Mind Body Bridging modalities.
I have a diverse background with cultures and can empathize with people that deal with infertility issues and spiritual concerns.
