Family of LGBTQ+
Join us to talk about all things related to having important people in your life who identify as LGBTQ+. Everyone's experiences are unique, but that doesn't mean you are in this alone! You'll find support, education, answers for questions, friendship, and an open door. You will find others on a similar journey as your own. This is for parents, siblings (ages 13 and up), and partners of transgender individuals. Cost is $10 per person. We will meet once a month, the 2nd Tuesday of the month, from 6:30-8:00pm at Advanced Counseling and Therapy Services.

This group is for adolescents who identify as transgender and are 13-18. The group meets every second Saturday at 4pm and is held at Advanced Counseling and Therapy Services. Many trans kids experience transphobia at school and sometimes at home. This group is a space where those frustrations can be voiced and other teens are there to validate one another. The facilitators will use fun engaging activities to help these client’s come up with coping skills and mindfulness techniques to help them combat the transphobia they experience while creating community. Adults Who Identify As Trans+
This group is for people who identify as transgender and are 18-35. The group meets every second Saturday at 1pm at Advanced Counseling and Therapy Services. Come and speak with like minded people about the unique struggles and joys that are experienced by adults who identify as transgender. Being trans in the transphobic society we live in is stressful and difficult. This group brings trans adults together to cathartically speak about societal marginalization, and clients will learn about many differing topics related to being transgender. Coping skills, breathing techniques, and mindfulness skills will all be explored in this group. Cost is $10 per person.
