I am a compassionate and insightful counselor who takes a person-centered and strengths-based approach to therapy. I believe each person is the expert of their own life, and I am dedicated to creating a safe, supportive space where clients feel heard, valued, and empowered. My approach centers on walking alongside clients as they navigate their unique journeys, offering guidance, tools, and encouragement along the way.
I understand life gets difficult, and it is important to have a safe space to process and understand adverse experiences better. In the Black community, we have often adopted the belief that silence is a better remedy than talking through our trauma and difficulties.
I hope to be a piece to the puzzle to dispel this and use connectedness instead of isolation towards healing.
