Hello, my name is Kayla Edwards I am licensed therapist in Pennsylvania with over 10 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with coping with addictions & motivation, self-esteem, and confidence. I believe that you are the expert of your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you. I use an array of counseling techniques such as Client-Centered Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused Therapy.
I have found that my style and approach work well with Codependency, Communication problems, Dependent personality, Forgiveness, Guilt and shame, Polyamory / non-monogamous relationships. My communication style is a Calm, safe, and confident environment with a warm and empathic tone. A nonjudgemental, accepting, and encouraging atmosphere.
I always find this to be a big question lol but what attracted me to begin my career as a therapist was the fact that human beings can come together as a team to connect and figure out together what challenges we can possibly overcome.
