I work with new mothers who are finding the transition to parenthood perhaps a bit shakier than was expected. Maybe birth was scarier or bigger than you ever imagined, and you don't quite know what to make of it. Maybe you didn't fall in love with your baby right away. Maybe you're in love with your baby - but not sure about your partner anymore. I create a warm environment in which to explore the impact of your story: of your family, your body, your relationships, and your self as a whole. I am also available for weekend intensives, in which trauma related to birth or sexual abuse can be significantly reduced or eliminated in just a few hours.
Taking the step towards therapy is a brave, wise, and, at times, terrifying place to start.
