I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of Illinois and an Advanced Practice Social Worker in the State of Wisconsin. I work with individuals, groups, and couples who are having a wide range of emotions or concerns. I enjoy working with a diverse population including young children, adolescents, adults and geriatric individuals. I also provide therapeutic services in the homes of older adults who are homebound in associated retirement facilities.
During my experience in the medical field I treated individuals and families on end of life issues, aging concerns, grief/loss, health issues, intimacy issues, death and bereavement, advance directive planning, depression, mood disorders, anxiety, adjustment issues, PTSD, chronic mental illness, healthcare planning and discharge planning.
I believe in an integrated approach to evidenced based therapy including CBT, Solution Focused, Client Centered, Group Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy and trained in EMDR Therapy to teach clients how to overcome emotional distress. I believe with the support, guidance, and tools taught that you can live a fulfilling life that will last forever.
