Let’s be honest: therapy can feel intimidating, especially when you’re worried it’s going to be an hour of "digging deep" into things you’d rather not talk about yet. I believe the most effective work happens when you actually feel comfortable in the room. My approach is built on being authentic and approachable. I specialize in working with individuals aged 13-35 who might feel a bit skeptical about therapy. I strive to create an environment that feels like a conversation, not an interrogation. We’ll tackle the heavy stuff, but we’ll do it in a way that feels manageable, grounded, and dare I say even a little lighthearted.
I don’t believe in a "one-size-fits-all" method. Because I work with younger populations, I adapt my style to where you are. We might use CBT to look at how your thoughts affect your mood, we might use a game to find practical coping tools for daily stressors, The goal is always the same: a welcoming space where you can show up as you are.
I believe that the most meaningful progress happens when therapy feels like a safe relationship built on trust, warmth, and authenticity. Together, we will focus on identifying strengths, creating healthy coping strategies, and fostering a greater sense of confidence and well-being.
