I am passionate about empowering folks to live a life full of meaning and connection. At the core of my work is the desire to support people in feeling safer in their bodies, more secure in their relationships, and more fully present in their day-to-day lives. My purpose is to provide you with tools to release shame, develop self-compassion, find safety within the body, foster self-awareness, and create safe and meaningful connections with others. Traumatic experiences can leave you feeling unsafe, overwhelmed, and out of control. I want to support you in feeling emotionally and physically safe so that you can fully engage in life.
I work with adults one on one. I am particularly passionate about working with those living with trauma (including complex, developmental, relational, and sexual), Borderline Personality Disorder, and LGBTQ+ clients (I am a member of the community myself). I am trained in EMDR therapy. I practice using a blend of EMDR, somatic experiencing, and parts work.
The depth of safety you feel in therapy has a direct correlation to the depth of your healing. And that safety can only be meaningfully expanded through a strong therapeutic relationship and an integrated mind-body approach. I would be honored to support you in your growth and healing.
