I am dedicated to creating a safe and welcoming space for my clients to come sit on my couch and tell me what is going on. My approach to therapy follows the idea that everyone has a toolkit that is always accessible to them. In our safe space, we add new tools, sharpen existing ones, and shed old tools we no longer need that weigh us down within our accessible toolkit. I aim to align my understanding of your life to find a holistic means to help you to the best of your abilities. I am dedicated to following a holistic and healing approach that can serve your healing intentions. I embrace nuance, creativity, growth, and acceptance.
I work with an array of clients who experience burnout, perfectionism, people-pleasing, depression, anxiety, social anxiety, identity exploration, sexual/affectional orientation, compromised self-esteem, negative self-talk, relationship conflict, and varied attachment styles. I often use meditation and somatic therapy for emotional regulation and expression.
My disposition is to be kind to all kinds, meaning I adopt a nonjudgmental and understanding demeanor to all. I refuse to be the stiff on the other side of the room. I hold space for laughter, tears, anger, sadness, authenticity, and all the complexities of the human experience. I am also a Reiki practitioner who enjoys inviting sacredness to our safe space.
