Life is an ongoing journey towards wholeness. Along that road, we experience expected and unexpected changes that can cause us to question who we are and exactly where we’re going. I have been a practicing psychotherapist for 30+ years, focusing on helping people understand who they are and how their life experiences have shaped them. Symptoms like anxiety and depression are signals. Psychotherapy isn’t a quick fix, but a journey of exploration to achieve deeper self understanding, which can unlock the stuckness and lead to greater emotional freedom. I believe it to be the best investment we can make towards healthier living.
The relationship with the therapist is the most important tool that facilitates growth. My training includes a two-year postgraduate psychotherapy program through Menninger Hospital, as well as a certificate in psychoanalysis from the CO Center of Psychoanalytic Studies. I also offer consultation to practicing therapists.
