I am Kay Guyer, and I’m a queer and genderqueer liberation-focused art therapist. I help queer and trans youth and adults feel strong and supported. I provide art therapy in a beautiful art studio in the bay area and online. I specialize in working with queer and trans teens and adults who want to increase their sense of rootedness and agency in order to live vibrantly.
I commit to providing an affirming space for your full self to show up so we can partner in the important work of healing. I offer two modalities of Psychotherapy and Art Therapy, which uses artmaking for personal exploration and growth. Deciding what approach we take will be a collaborative process based on your needs and interests.
I know that engaging in therapy is a courageous step. My approach is warm, grounded, and relational. In our work together, I will take time to thoroughly understand your experiences, hopes, and dreams.
