Have you or a family member been struggling with anxiety and depression? Grief or life transitions? If so, I am here to support you. I enjoy working with all different age ranges and backgrounds. I also have a huge passion for supporting and mentoring youth. Some of the presenting concerns I have experience with include anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, social concerns, and learning challenges. I am a 25-year Navy veteran and am certain that my unique life experiences have shaped me into the clinician I am and motivated my passion for supporting others on their healing journey.
Kawika utilizes a person-centered, strengths-based, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Family Systems approaches. In his free time, he loves camping, going to the beach with his family, grilling, and listening to audiobooks. Kawika believes in giving back to his community and looks forward to support you or your family member.
Kawika joined Grow Through Life Counseling in 2022 to support families in our community. He is am APCC supervised by Esther De La Cruz, LMFT, RPT-S. He is offering Telehealth and in-person in Murrieta. Please note: we do not provide crisis intervention so if you or your family member are experiencing an emergency, please call 911 or go to the ER.
