I am a licensed clinical psychologist and certified group psychotherapist (CGP) with expertise in group dynamics, trauma, and large group. In addition to organizational work, I see individuals and couples who have emotional blocks and are stuck in relational patterns that don't serve them. I work with individuals and couples long-term to understand attachment styles and to develop better self-regulation and communication skills. Many of my clients have not always known that they matter to someone. In individual and group, clients develop a strong sense of self and become clear that are important and worthy of care.
Therapist Beyond Borders, is an interdisciplinary consulting firm that support organizations that care about staff wellbeing and resilience. From offering staff developmental opportunities or consulting to managers, we provide support in the face of critical incidents and small and large-scale conflicts. I have responded to critical incidents globally.
Therapist Beyond Borders is the recipient of the Community Psychoanalysis Institutional Award for our groundbreaking initiatives that integrates psychoanalytic principles with a deep commitment to humanitarian and social justice work. In the last years, we have been teaching an applied Reflective Citizens methodology to improve the quality of co-existence.

Groups
Psychotherapy Group
Group is an efficacious form of treatment that is not as well-known as individual therapy even though it is evidence-based. The research shows that group is just as effective and in some cases more effective than individual therapy. Individuals come to group to work through emotional blocks. In group, members build trust and over time come to care about one another. It is a space that offers individuals the opportunity to both learn vicariously and learn by doing.
