I am accepting new supervisees for Social Work Licensure. With 40 years of experience as a psychotherapist, my style is warm, compassionate and highly focused. I lean on a Developmental framework in nearly every area of your life: some areas are highly developed, others underdeveloped. I work with a traditional social work Strengths Based perspective, which means that I look for what you do well, and how you have successfully coped in the past. With a Cognitive Behavioral structure, we also look at which behaviors you might want to alter, as well as the thinking distortions that tend to be underneath our areas of dysfunction.
With couples: communication, conflict management, expectations and ways to express love to each other.
With Clinical Supervision, LCSW or LMHP: awareness of how your own patterns influence your work.
With individuals, couples in therapy, or with an individual or family in a life transition, or with a professional working on his or her supervision hours, I will begin with you where you are, and with compassion and respect support you in helping you achieve your goals.

Clinical Supervision Washington
A group for professionals seeking social work or counseling licensure or consultation; sign up for two-month cycles. Next groups begin: 2024: Winter Session: Jan 5. Spring session: March 01 $40 per group, $320. for two-month session. We meet for a 1.5-hour block, every week. Time of group: Fridays 8am - 9:30am. Commit to two months at a time. Meet for individual intake before start of group. All groups are virtual (Zoom) I can work with you anywhere in Washington.
