Hello! I'm Katy and I'm a nonbinary, LGBTQ+ affirming therapist serving Pasadena in person, and virtually in Wisconsin, South Carolina and California. My specialty is transgender, nonbinary, and gender nonconforming teens and adults. Gender identity issues are difficult to navigate whether it's exploring gender, coming out, or wrestling with anxiety and depression that can follow. Through personal and work experience, I've worked with many clients and at the client request, their families to navigate gender questions and challenges. I have been working with teens, children, and adults with anxiety, depression for 10+ years and if needed, I offer a unique focus on gender identity for the individual and their family (if the individual so desires). I work with cis individuals, too, and enjoy helping people navigate life transitions, existential questions, anxiety, and /or depression.
I can provide letters of support for gender affirming surgeries at a fee that you decide is affordable to you. I like to meet about 1-2 times if you're looking for a surgery letter only.
