I’m Katy Levesque, a compassionate and dedicated marriage and family therapist practicing in California. I draw from various treatment models and tailor my approach to each individual's needs. I understand that therapy is a collaborative journey, and that individuals and families have both unhelpful patterns and strengths. I treat individuals with depression, anxiety, PTSD, mood disorders, adjustment to transitions, and relationship problems. I have worked with adults, seniors, and teenagers and adults who have experienced trauma.
My therapeutic approach is rooted in evidence-based techniques with a focus on cognitive behavioral therapy, and trauma informed therapy. I have a background in working with addicts and their families, and clients who have experienced trauma or a critical life event.
It is such an honor to go on this journey with a client. Witnessing someone who is stuck and unhappy, go on to find freedom and joy, and develop the skills needed to create the kind of life they want is what motivates me.
