Happiness can be found even in the darkest of times if one only remembers to turn on the light- Albus Dumbledore. I believe a small amount of hope helps a person get through most obstacles in life. Hope, to me, is the little bit of light in the darkness. My ultimate goal is to help my clients find their light. The common thread throughout my career as a therapist has been the treatment of trauma, adverse experiences, and toxic stress. Regardless of where a client is on their journey towards healing, I help them continue to take the steps to move forward.
I have extensive training helping clients across the age spans navigate their traumatic events to find healing and stability. I have training in Parent Child Interactive Therapy, Theraplay (c), Trauma Focus Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, and Brainspotting therapies.
Everyday I try to make my little corner of the universe just a bit better. I do this by building others up and helping them become the best versions of themselves. Our pasts may have shaped who we are today, but our negative experiences do not have to define us. Healing is a journey. Although I cannot walk it for you, I will gladly walk beside you.
