I connect well with teens and young adults navigating life changes and stressors. I enjoy using Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) as I believe that everyone can benefit from emotional regulation skills, distress tolerance, mindfulness, and interpersonal effectiveness. I am also trained in the Gottman Method of couples counseling and enjoy working with couples to improve communication and connection.
I offer an empathetic, relatable approach to counseling in an environment that is relaxing, warm, and supportive. I connect well with clients who may not have responded to therapy in the past. I believe that clients are their own best resource and I enjoy helping them recognize their strengths and full potential.
