I believe healing is reconnection to your true self. Often life experiences can make it difficult for us to know who we are or feel comfortable as we are, and healing is that reconnection to your true self and your true identity. My goal in therapy is to create a safe, non-judgmental space for you to explore the changes you want to make. I specialize in working with people experiencing chronic health conditions, chronic pain, and disability. I also work with folks dealing with substance use issues, neurodivergence (diagnosed and undiagnosed), mood disorders, anxiety, long COVID, and domestic violence.

I use humor and authenticity blended with a practical, person-centered approach to therapy. My main modalities are Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and sensorimotor. I have experience working with people of diverse backgrounds, am LGBTQIA+ affirming, and I am committed to culturally responsive, anti-racist, anti-oppressive, and trauma-informed practice.

Clients who have immunocompromised conditions are welcome, I actively practice's safety protocols for chronic health conditions. I would love to learn more about your goals, the change you would like to make, and to explore what it means to connect to your true self.

DBT gives practical steps to decrease symptoms while working to build a non-judgment mindset. I often pair this with increasing mindfulness of your body's experience of emotions.
