Hi, I am Katrina Deschene and have been a licensed professional counselor for the last 4 years in MN and a year in ND. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, depression, impulse control issues, relationship issues, family conflicts, as well as trauma and abuse. Some specific models I am trained in are: EMDR, TF-CBT, play therapy, motivational interviewing, humanistic approaches, attachment bio-behavioral catch up, CBT, DBT, and internal family systems.
I was attracted to therapy was personal family members who have struggled with their own mental health and negative experiences within the therapy world. I drive to make all experiences more positive and beneficial for the client and their supports.
