Being aware how difficult it is to reach out for help, I am committed to meet you where you are. As a licensed Psychotherapist and Psychoanalyst. I focus on understanding intersections of thoughts, behaviors that have developed over a lifetime and that create difficulties in the present. I have completed analytic training as the most thorough training available considering healthy and pathological development. I have specialized knowledge including grief, anxiety, life transitions, and depression. I focus on the influence of race, culture, immigration, and gender. I am LGBTQ+ affirmative and non- discriminatory.

My work centers on self understanding. I help you integrate your experiences by creating a safe, respectful, collaborative environment for you to feel open and supported to share with me your feelings, experiences, and become more self aware. I am dedicated to help you understand yourself better, and help you find fulfillment in life & relationships..

Trained at Johns Hopkins emergency and outpatient, I have been in full-time private practice for over 15 years. I offer consultation to clinicians and supervision. I am on the faculty of the Washington Baltimore Center for Psychoanalysis, the GW Psy D program and am licensed in MD, VA, DC, MA. I am currently accepting new patients preferably in person.
