Hi! Yes, I am currently accepting new clients. As a therapist, I specialize in working with people who struggle with life transitions, relationship conflicts between spouses and family members, communication, anxiety, depression, PTSD and trauma, perinatal mood disorders, miscarriage, grief and loss, and substance use disorders. I am passionate about using a person-centered focus, and having an approachable, compassionate, and welcoming presence for my clients to feel comfortable to open up about their struggles. I am invested in helping individuals gain confidence in themselves to lead a happier and more fulfilling life.
I currently specialize in Mindfulness Based Practices, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy including Radical Acceptance, Assertive Communication and establishing healthy boundaries, Schema Therapy, Attachment Theory, Marriage and Family Therapy, Gottman Method, Emotion Focused Therapy, and trauma informed.
As a therapist, I think it is very important to always have my clients feel heard and be on their team when they are on their therapy journey to reach their personal empowerment goals. To schedule, please call the intake coordinator at The Center for Emotional Healing at 860-351-7445 and ask to work with Katlyn.
