My name is Dr. Katina Pittman. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia with 16 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with stress, anxiety, and depression. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I work primarily with adults who struggle with everyday life stressors such as financial concerns, relationship struggles, family issues, medical concerns, job concerns, or other concerns. I also work with those who are feeling depressed, anxious, struggle with low self-esteem or body image issues.
Once we identify those thoughts the goal is to use cognitive restructuring to help replace those thoughts and improve feelings. I also educate on healthy self-care and coping skills to improve overall well-being. Clients who are struggling with problem-solving would be educated on effective problem-solving skills.
