My name is Dr. Katina Pittman. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia with 16 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with stress, anxiety, and depression. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. I am here to support & empower you in that journey. During the first session we would go over informed consent and confidentiality.
I complete an intake assessment so that I can get to know what is concerning each individual, their history, and their goals for counseling. My goal is to build a good therapeutic relationship with each client one that empowers and supports. I also educate clients further on my therapeutic approach during the first session.
I work primarily with adults who struggle with everyday life stressors such as financial concerns, relationship struggles, family issues, medical concerns, job concerns, or other concerns. I also work with those who are feeling depressed, anxious, struggle with low self-esteem, or body image issues.
