Hello, I'm Katie. I'm a licensed Clinical Psychologist with a collaborative, empowering, and supportive approach to therapy. Oftentimes, clients know they want to “go” somewhere in their life or relationships. Sometimes, the destination is not totally clear, and sometimes they know exactly where they want to go but not quite how to get there. We’ll begin by clarifying where you are in your journey- the metaphorical “you are here” dot on your map. Once we clarify where you are, and how you got here, we will work together to determine where you want to go, which route you want to take, and how to move in that direction.
I specialize in treating relationship concerns, anxiety, depression, perfectionism, career concerns, life transitions, navigating college or graduate school, and/or healing from trauma. My approach is warm, validating, kind, direct, and interactive. I offer gentle challenge within the context of support to maximize therapeutic progress and client growth.
I'm so glad you are considering working with me. If you are interested in seeing if my approach may be a good fit for your therapy goals, please reach out for a free phone consultation so we can discuss your needs. I look forward to getting to know you and how I can support you. I am an LGBTQ+ affirming provider.
