I work with individuals who have faced trauma, abuse, and/or neglect throughout their lives. They are people who may feel chronic emptiness, internal conflict, activated emotions, and have trouble letting things go. They are individuals who also deal with low self-esteem and feelings of defectiveness, shame or guilt. They come to therapy seeking support to process and understand themselves, and to create new patterns and behaviors in their lives. They want to find thriving, capacity and deeper empowerment; looking for support, integrated care, and honesty.
I have training in DBT, ART, and EMDR. I also use a working knowledge of IFS and somatic experiencing which are included in most all treatment plans.
I provide trauma-informed therapy grounded in certifications as a clinical trauma professional and shame-informed treatment specialist. I strive for the office space to be open, welcoming, and safe. I strive to be as honest as possible and at times, act as a hope broker in your treatment process. I teach you coping skills and we practice them in session.

I work with clients who may be struggling with depression, anxiety, personality disorders, suicidal ideation, self-harm and trauma, including attachment wounds. During initial sessions, we will explore what has been occurring in your life and create an action plan for help. Most clients I see experience some relief within the first 3-6 weeks of starting our work.

I utilize an eclectic approach, integrating modalities to best fit your needs. My primary therapy techniques are EMDR, ART, DBT, and CBT, incorporating somatic exercises and parts work. A few of my roles are to assess your safety, provide a mirror to see what you are saying in a new way, and model secure attachment. A successful outcome would look like feeling increased capacity and empowerment.
