I do not take for granted the strength it takes to seek support. I wholeheartedly believe in the process of mental health counseling and am excited to come along side those who would choose to participate in this journey. I understand that each client brings a unique perspective, set of experiences, and personality. Therefore, I seek to meet each client right where they are, partnering with them to tailor the counseling experience to best fit their goals.
I work with adult women, teens, children age 8 and older, couples, and families. My areas of experience include depression, anxiety, identity, relationship challenges, grief/loss, and transitions. I work primarily from a Cognitive Behavioral methodology, also pulling in techniques from other counseling theories based on the client’s specific needs.
I help my clients explore physical, mental, and spiritual issues that may be hindering them from living life to the fullest. As a Christian, I believe that knowing Jesus and growing in our relationship with Him is an integral part of reaching our fullest potential, but understand that not everyone desires to integrate faith into their counseling experience.
